Retirement of Dr Brad Smith

After a career at Hawthorne Clinic spanning more than 15 years, Dr Bradley Smith will be retiring from full-time work and leaving the practice. Dr Smith’s last day will be Friday, 27 September 2019.

During his time here, Dr Smith has been an integral and respected part of our clinical team. Likewise, his loyal following of patients is testament to his likability as a GP.

His whole professional ethos was built around caring for people from all walks of life in a calm and comforting manner.

As is the aim of all GPs, Dr Smith made the lives of so many people better, healthier and happier.

Brad and partner Deb will now begin a new lifestyle. They are hitching up the caravan and hitting the road.

After a decent break, Dr Smith might undertake some occasional locum work at a location that will no doubt be dictated by family, waves and the wind!

We thank Dr Smith for his contribution to Hawthorne Clinic and wish he and Deb every happiness for the future.
