Welcome to Larissa Newman!

Hawthorne Clinic has welcomed another friendly new face this week. Taking her seat behind the front desk from February 8th, Larissa Newman has come on board to help ease the reception and admin load … and also greet and get to know you as you come in.

Hailing from Coorparoo, Larissa has spent the past few years working in travel bookings. However, a desire to do work that was more focused around helping people and the community led her to apply at Hawthorne Clinic. Larissa’s professionalism - plus bright and bubbly personality - means she’ll be a perfect addition to the team.

“The Hawthorne and Bulimba area is so beautiful, and the clinic: it has so much charm. It’s been here for nearly 100 years and there are so many stories in this place. I’m proud to be part of it now,” Larissa says.

“There is a great vibe here. When I came in to talk about the job, everyone clicked. I’m definitely planning to stick around for a while.”

So, if you see a new face at the clinic, make sure you say hello. And also, perhaps ask Larissa how her three cats - Rosie, Lexie and Frankie - are doing.
