Welcoming Dr Fang-Wei Chen

Hawthorne Clinic is pleased to welcome Dr Chen as the newest member of the team. Dr Fang-Wei Chen grew up in Brisbane and initially completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) in 2007 before her MBBS in 2012, both at the University of Queensland. She has a keen interest in Paediatrics and completed her Diploma of Child Health in 2016. She has previously worked at the Mater Hospital, Nambour Hospital, and other GP Practices in Brisbane before joining the team at Hawthorne clinic.

As a general practitioner, she walks with her patients through their individual journeys, helping to guide them to achieve their goals. Her other interests are mental health, women’s health (including antenatal and Implanon insertion), sexual health and lifestyle medicine.
